I started supporting Outsiders
because I liked the aspect of friendship,
possible relationships and fun
that it offered people with disabilities
who often feel marginalized.
I have met new friends myself
and done things I wouldn't
have dreamed I'd do.
I have massaged people in the
disabled camping area at Glastonbury,
joined a group of women to
talk about relationships,
helped in a major conference on
sex and disability,
and stood with a group
on Westminster Bridge
demonstrating in support of
sex workers.
I also admire Outsiders for being
an organization that has consistently
campaigned with disabled people
for them to be recognized
as sexual beings.
