Outsiders runs unthreatening events in London and elsewhere, where members can meet each other, practice socialising and enjoy themselves. Newcomers can also come along to see if you like us. All events are in pleasant, accessible venues which are selected to be quiet, spacious, courteous to disabled guests and inexpensive.
You can use our activities calendar to see forthcoming events, or find the nearest event to you under Local Lunches. Londoners can learn more about the Gadabouts outings here.
Outsiders will be running a space at Glastonbury 2008, for disabled visitors. We'll be sharing tent with Attitude is Everything next to the Disability Field.
We'll be providing a place to chill and a dressing up service for disabled people planning to go out for the night. Our area will be a warm and welcoming space, a "Boudoir" where people can relax and escape from the massiveness of the festival. We will supply a range of refreshments and fun events, head & shoulders massage, music, dance, dressing up, etc.
We'll be promoting Outsiders and be showing the wonderful documentary about Outsiders, "Disabled and Looking for Love".
We can be reached on 07815 460 505.
