A half-hour film made as part of Bob Lens' PhD project. In it he has his lifestyle with his girlfriend filmed, so that the audience can see that although he is very incapacitated because of his Tetraplegia , he still leads an active university life and has a normal relationship with his girlfriend. The film's main object is to demonstrate the gratifying sexual relationship between them. This is an extremely explicit film, but really useful for people who might dismiss a paralysed body as being sexually useless and unresponsive.

An hour-long Channel 4/Central TV documentary made by Nigel Evans in 1982. Outsiders features as a major part of this film, which has won several awards and been shown on TV both here and in the USA several times. The second half is presented by actor Nabil Shaban. It deals with the old 'showground' attitude to disability but perhaps in the process manages to bring out the same animal emotions in its viewers! The programme has been badly received in the USA on the grounds that they don't seem to be able to accept sex and disability together.
