Now established for 28 years, Outsiders remains the only Charity in the world for physically and socially disabled people to find partners.
In 2004, the Outsiders website won the 'Getting the Message Across Award' from the National Information Forum for 'a substantial amount of information presented in a sensitive way'.
Outsiders have now redesigned their image and website, to make the site more appealing and user-friendly by employing a hand-coded simple and uniform navigation system, which is accessible to all, including blind and visually impaired people.
The website offers a unique resource to members, the public and health professionals, and provides a precise picture of Outsiders' very special work for the public, sponsors and media to access.
It is still a challenge for most disabled people to find understanding for their needs, and Outsiders' mission is to offer a platform to enhance public understanding and acceptance of disabled people as sexual beings.
The new site is here on-line and Outsiders invites visitors to browse it and send feedback. Outsiders is currently inviting new members and donators.
