Outsiders runs unthreatening events in London and elsewhere, where members can meet each other, practice socialising and enjoy themselves. Newcomers can also come along to see if you like us. All events are in pleasant, accessible venues which are selected to be quiet, spacious, courteous to disabled guests and inexpensive.
Some of our events are now Great Expectations gatherings. These are designed to cater to many of the physically and socially disabled people in the locality, and run in conjunction with other local organisations.
The first outing of Great Expectations Highland will be on Tuesday 28th July - a journey up Cairn Gorm on the Mountain Railway.
We will meet at 1.30pm at the Spectrum Café, Spectrum Centre, on the south side of the Inverness bus station, 1 Margaret Street, Inverness, IV1 1LS. This is an accessible cheap café. People who cannot spot us can call 07770 884 985.
If you are joining us at Cairn Gorm, please arrive by 2,30 and wait for everybody else to arrive, as I have a deal that we all get the ride for £8.25 each. We can eat in the Ptarmigan Restaurant at the top and the last train down is 4.30pm. We will share petrol costs.
